Alissa Spangler

Alissa Spangler is the Executive News and Sports Producer for NewsChannel 10 and a member of the 10 Investigates Team.

She has been a journalist with NewsChannel 10 since the beginning of 2020 and was a part of the creative department from 2018 to 2019.

In addition to her role as Executive Producer, Alissa also has experience in anchoring, reporting and many other roles in the newsroom. She has produced award winning breaking news stories, reported on feature stories, and had the opportunity to interview many Panhandle legends.

Her passion is storytelling and finding creative ways to present the stories that matter to her community.

Alissa was born and raised in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo College in 2022.

When she is not at work, Alissa enjoys spending time with her family. Their favorite thing to do together is watch football, whether it’s high school, college, NFL or anything in between.
